Through prayer and action, individuals can take a stand for righteousness and can be effective in reclaiming the moral climate of our country.

FAMILY WATCH produces and distributes over 700 newsletters to churches, pro-family organizations, and indivduals each week. The newsletter is a one-page, easy-to=read resource so that individuals will be informed and in prayer about the local, state, and national issues affecting the family. As individuals in our congregations begin to pray, God will convict each one about the action that He might have them take.
FAMILY WATCH encourages individuals to identify their local, state, and national lawmakers and then to make a commitment to pray for them daily as well as communicate with them on a regular basis. To accomplisht the goal, FAMILY WATCH has developed "legislative packets" for a number of conties in Kansas and Missouri.
These packets include:
a) a "prayer commitment" card
b) guidlines for "writing or calling" a legislator
c) information about local, state, and national legislators, including important addresses and phone numbers.

FAMILY WATCH will assist participating churches in the process of establishing a "Moral Issues Committee". The committee will bring together like-minded individuals within the church who want to be more informed, more involved, and more committed to prayer and action about those issues that are affecting the moral climate of our country.
FAMILY WATCH often receives daily legislative "alerts" via FAX or phone calls from Washington D.C. or the state capitol. Because the involvment of the pro-family community, through prayer and action can have such a great impact on the outcome of a particular issue, FAMILY WATCH has set up an automated "phone Network" so that important information can be communicated to the pro-family community in a timely manner.
FAMILY WATCH encourages individuals to register to vote, and to exercise responsible citizenship by going to the polls and being an educated voter. To accomplish this goal, FAMILY WATCH sponsors "voter registration drives" and distributes non-partisan candidate surveys to participating FAMILY WATCH churches so that individuals will be informed about the candidates and their positions on the issues.
NOTE: FAMILY WATCH does not endorse any candidate for public office.
FAMILY WATCH is funded by yearly memberships ($10 per year) or tax deductible donations. FAMILY WATCH is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
